Master of Science
This double degree program is conducted in cooperation with the Università degli studi di Pavia and the EM Strasbourg. Students spend one year at the University of Tübingen and one year at one of the two partner institutions, earning a degree from both institutions. Students of this program are full students at both universities. This master program endows students with the skills and capacities necessary to succeed in the European economic world.
With one study year in Pavia, Italy, and one study year in Tübingen, Germany, students experience two cultures, two campus lives, two academic practices. Graduates look forward to excellent career perspectives in various sectors. By the end of their studies they are granted two master degrees: the Laurea Magistrale degree and the Master of Science degree.
Studying in Tübingen students choose two to three specializations from a broad range of business specializations. They take compulsory and elective courses depending on their specific specialization, but may additionally aim at complementary specializations in Economics, benefitting from a strong Economics scholarship at the Tübingen School of Business and Economics.
Studying in Pavia students can choose courses out of a number of business specializations. Additionally, they may take sociology courses, benefitting from the School?s specific focus.
Students spend their first study year in Strasbourg and one year in Tübingen, also gaining two master degrees: the Master Grande École degree and the Master of Science degree. Additionally the students receive a certificate of the French-German University. Their studies in Tübingen and Strasbourg provide them with a unique insight into their specialisation. It is this intercultural competence that leads to the ?added value? for our graduates on both a personal and a professional level. Students may choose to either complete their Master Thesis at the partner university or at the University of Tübingen, depending on where they study during their first year of the M.Sc. degree.The program requires students to earn 60 ECTS at each institution, amounting to a total of 120 ECTS. Students start their program at the EM Strasbourg in September and complete their first year of the master degree over there. The second year of the program is spent in Tübingen and includes the completion of a Master Thesis. The EM Strasbourg requires students to complete an internship of 3,5 months in a location of their choice. Students can choose to do the internship either between their first and second year of studies or at the end of their studies at the University of Tübingen.
Furthermore, the School of Business and Economics is currently developing a cooperation with the iaelyon School of Management - University Jean Moulin 3.

The School of Business and Economics has entered into double-degree agreements with different partner universities all over the world. These programs offer participants an extraordinary opportunity to obtain two degrees at the same time. This integrated double degree Master program in European Management is conducted in cooperation with the Università degli studi di Pavia (Italy), the EM Strasbourg (France) and the iaelyon School of Management at the University of Lyon Jean Moulin 3 (France). Designed as a two-year program to be completed in equal shares at both universities, featuring a broad range of courses and granting two degrees, this Master program teaches students the skills and capabilities necessary to succeed in the European labor market. With one study year in Tübingen, Germany and one study year at the partner university participants experience two cultures, two campus lives and two academic perspectives. Graduates look forward to excellent career prospects in various sectors. At the end of their studies they are granted two Master degrees: Master of Science in European Management at the University of Tübingen and the corresponding Master degree of the partner university. Due to the international focus of the program graduates are able to get into different working procedures in different countries efficiently and adopt beneficial practices being used in other cultures. Students of this program are full students at both universities.
