• Admission requirment

  - Graduates who have completed a first professionally qualifying university degree consisting of at least 7 semesters of attendance at a university of applied sciences or university or hold an equivalent international academic degree - Only those with at least two years of professional work in the field of special support for the elderly/socio-cultural services for the elderly or in an adjacent professional field amounting to at least 50% of normal (for the location) working hours can be admitted. Furthermore, during the course an activity in special support for the elderly/socio-cultural services for the elderly or a related vocational field amounting to at least 50% of the usual local working hours or alternatively - for example in the case of child-raising or unemployment - regular voluntary activity in special support for the elderly/socio-cultural services for the elderly amounting to at least 15 hours a week is compulsory. These admission requirements are governed by Section 2 of the Master?s course regulation for the continuing education course Social Gerontology at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz.
